HUMANS
FREE: TALOS Human Detector
Model Overview
Test CVEDIA technology for yourself with this free off-the-shelf synthetic algorithm. CVEDIA is proud to provide the TALOS Human Detector free of charge for all non-production use, including testing and development. Built using MobileNetV2, TALOS is a lightweight algorithm designed to run on chip, cloud, and docker with 11+ deployment types.
Detect a wide variety of person features and conditions using the TALOS Crowd-Ready Human Detector. Trained to perform from a variety of ground-to-aerial perspectives, TALOS was developed using proprietary synthetic technology for better performance in crowds. TALOS performs in both indoor and outdoor scenarios including daytime and low lighting, and is highly effective for detecting humans in groups, busy areas, and crowds.

About CVEDIA
CVEDIA is a pioneer in the use of synthetic data for machine perception. We use deep learning to create synthetic-based detection and classification algorithms. CVEDIA models actually outperform traditional models because synthetic data allows for feature-based design. That means our models are safer and quicker to market. Today we work with over 30 of the world’s largest companies on their most complex deep learning projects.
Every model is backed by an ongoing maintenance service, as well as the ability to customize and add to a model through our in-house development team. We’ll even help you deploy our models in your software stack. Contact us for more information.

Licensing
The free TALOS Human Detector is usable subject to a user license agreement stipulating that the algorithm is only used in a non-production setting. To use TALOS in the market as a part of your product, contact us to learn more about our licensing.
Fine Grain Classification
Speak to our team to discuss model classification as a service add on or as a separate model. CVEDIA’s in-house team will work with you to define your requirements, and build a synthetic-based model incorporating your classification specifications.
Additional Classes
CVEDIA models are built using proprietary synthetic data technology – meaning adding additional classes to your model is possible in a matter of weeks.
The free TALOS algorithm is available for deployment on the following:
NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Xavier
Ambarella chipsets
Qualcomm chipsets
ARM Processors
X86, Consumer and Commercial Grade
Amazon Sagemaker
